If there’s one thing that wouldn’t fail to make us swoon, it’s newlywed Liam Hemsworth gushing about his ‘sweet sweet angel’ wife Miley Cyrus. Attending the G’Day USA Black Tie Gala in Los Angeles, Hemsworth and Cyrus made their first joint appearance as a married couple, and it didn’t take long for the Aussie hunk to share his thoughts on married life.
Hemsworth was honoured at the gala, accepting the Excellence In Film Award, and while on stage accepting the honour he turned the attention to his partner of 10-years. “Thank you to my beautiful wife,” the 29-year-old actor told the crowd, prompting a huge cheer. “You are a sweet, sweet angel. You’re great, you’re great,” he continued, after which Cyrus could be heard shouting from her seat, “More about me!”
He playfully added, “Yeah, I’ll tell you later.”
Cyrus later posted the sweet exchange to Instagram.

Cryus and Hemsworth tied the knot on Dec. 23 in a secret ceremony at the singer’s home in Franklin, Tennessee.
Speaking to Extra at the gala, Hemsworth said planning the ceremony was easy to pull off. “It wasn’t hard, we have a small group of friends. It was mainly immediate family, a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing,” he explained, adding, “I am very happy to be where I am.”
The actor went on to reveal that tying the knot hasn’t really changed life for the couple, calling married life “the same but different,” noting that they’ve “been together for the better part of 10 years.”
Following their wedding, both Cyrus and Hemsworth shared intimate pictures from the day.
