The world mourned when Michael Jackson died in 2009, but a number of devoted fans are convinced that the pop star is actually alive and well after being “spotted” in daughter, Paris Jackson’s, selfie.
Paris, 18, shared an Instagram photo of herself some six months ago, but now a number of fans are claiming the figure in the background is her father, Michael.
Maybe it’s one of those optical illusions like ‘the dress’ that only some people can see because personally we’re drawing a blank.
But nonetheless fans began flooding the comments section of the ‘gram, captioned “if you give a little love, you can get a little love of your own”, questioning whether the ‘Thriller’ singer was in the back seat of the car.
One fan even went so far as to create an a eerie video ‘proving’ that the shadowy figure is Michael.
The YouTube clip shows screenshots of Paris’ selfie, before zooming in to the back seat of the car and bringing the singer’s face into focus. ‘
Michael Jackson passed away in 2009 following a heart attack caused by prescription drugs. Paris was 11 at the time.
