Every single detail about Meghan Markle’s fairy tale wedding to Prince Harry from the dress to the veil to the barely-there make-up has been pinned to the Pinterest boards of brides-to-be for inspiration or direct replication, depending on how much the individual bride wants to channel their favourite royal on their big day.
And in brilliant news for all the aspiring Meghan Markle brides out there, Buckingham Palace has revealed it’s now selling a replica of Meghan Markle’s three-stone engagement ring for just £30 or approximately $55 AUD.
That dream Meghan Markle-inspired wedding is now so much easier and cheaper thanks to Buckingham Palace – there’s no longer any need to take a picture of Markle’s ring to your local jeweller to replicate for your own engagement ring – you can skip straight ahead to buying an exact replica.
The replica ring, according to the Buckingham Palace gift shop website (which ships internationally in case you were wondering) features three “sparkling crystals set on palladium plated metal” and is adjustable to fit any and all finger sizes. And if you want to go all out, there are matching earrings and a pendant also available on the website.
But while the replica ring doesn’t come with a prince and probably won’t hold the same sentimental value as Markle’s actual ring – Prince Harry sourced the centre diamond from Botswana and the two smaller diamonds belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana – if you want to play princess for a day, this $55 ring is a very affordable starting point.
