You Won’t Have To Wait Long To See Meghan and Harry Again

We can’t wait

Safe to say we’re still well and truly suffering from royal wedding fever, and now that it’s over we’re officially going through Meghan Markle and Prince Harry withdrawals. Pouring over every single detail we can get our hands on, from what Prince Charles said in his speech to their first dance as husband and wife

Thankfully however we won’t have to wait too long until we get to see the newlyweds again as they scheduled to attend their first official royal engagement on Tuesday May 22 (UK time).

The event is a garden party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace in honour of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday – and considering he walked Meghan down the aisle, it’s only fitting that the couple postponed their honeymoon to attend the affair.

The event, which will be Meghan’s first official royal engagement as The Duchess of Sussex, “will celebrate Charles’s patronages, military affiliations and others involved in charities he supports”, according royal reporter Omid Scobie.

“Cadets and emergency services personnel who were first responders at the Manchester Arena bombing on May 22, 2017, will also attend.”

The happy couple were briefly spotted leaving Windsor the morning after their wedding, believed to be heading back to their home at Kensington Palace in London, where they will prepare for their honeymoon.

It’s been rumoured that the couple will be honeymooning in Namibia, but there are reports that several bookings have been made to throw everyone off the scent.
