Meghan Markle (and her glorious wide-legged trouser style) is official back and better than ever.
The Duchess, who hasn’t been seen in public since welcoming her baby daughter Lilibet in June this year, stepped out with her husband Prince Harry in New York City where they undertook two small, yet meaningful engagements.
For her grand return to the spotlight, the 40-year-old mum-of-two brought her signature style, wearing an all-black ensemble consisting an Emporio Armani jacket with Aquazzura pumps.
Channeling an iconic outfit from her early royal days (read: that tartan coat in Scotland), the Duchess of Sussex again added a pair of chic wide legged trousers to her New York City ensemble.
She wore her hair in a slick up-do—another signature Markle look.
The Duke and Duchess stepped out on September 23 to visit a 9/11 memorial in central NYC—the poignant gathering took place at the 386-metre observatory at One World Trade Centre.
The pair were asked by reporters at the scene how it felt to be back in New York City, and their answers were simple.
“It’s wonderful to be back, thank you,” Meghan said, while Harry added: “It’s wonderful, thank you.”
The pair were also spotted in Midtown visiting the UN headquarters where they met with Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
For the occasion, Meghan changed into a camel-coloured coat by Max Mara.
The days events came before the Duke and Duchess appear at tomorrow’s Global Citizen Concert, which will air across the world live from Central Park.
There, they will join a slew of other celebrities in promoting equal access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
