And now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s latest venture has been revealed—on-brand as ever, they’ve joined ethical investment company, Ethic as “impact partners”.

The partnership comes in a bid to encourage younger people to invest in sustainable companies, per a statement from the couple themselves.

“When we invest in each other we change the world,” they wrote.

“Our choices – of how and where we put our energy—define us as a global community. We believe it’s time for more people to have a seat at the table when decisions are made that impact everyone. We want to rethink the nature of investing to help solve the global issues we all face. This is one of the ways we put our values in action.”

Harry and Meghan themselves have investments that are managed by the company, whose ethos is to invest in companies that treat people and the planet “with respect”.

The New York Times broke the news this week, with Meghan revealing in an interview that Prince Harry had sparked the idea for the partnership.

“My husband has been saying for years, ‘Gosh, don’t you wish there was a place where if your values were aligned like this, you could put your money to that same sort of thing?'”

The latest update comes after the Duke and Duchess spent several days in New York City in September where they squeezed in a bunch of high profile business meetings, as well as attending the Global Citizen Live concert to promote vaccine equality.

Since formerly stepping back from their roles as senior royal family members in March 2020, the couple have launched their own foundation, Archewell and signed several major deals beneath its umbrella.

Namely, a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix which will see them create content (understood to be documentaries) that will deliver education and vital information pertaining to social and environmental causes.
