And, her two dogs crash the video

Now, the Duchess of Sussex has joined forces with activist and feminist icon Gloria Steinem in a clip on the MAKERS Women Instagram account for a casual, backyard conversation.

In a preview of the upcoming conversation, with the full episode dropping on August 27, the two women discuss why itโ€™s critical young people vote this year. โ€œPeople forget how hard women like you and so many others before you fought for us to just be where we are right now,โ€ Meghan tells Steinem.

โ€œIf you donโ€™t vote you donโ€™t exist,โ€ Steinem responds.

Steinem also opened up about her fears of young people being the least likely to cast their ballots in the upcoming US election.

โ€œWhat worries me the most are young people, who I understand are the least likely to vote, and I can understand the feeling that they donโ€™t think they have an impact, and yet itโ€™s more important for them to vote than anyone else because theyโ€™re going to be alive long after I am, and theyโ€™re going to be suffering the consequences,โ€ she says.

But, she tells Markle she remains โ€œhopeful.โ€
