Which is why when stars like Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively step out in the season’s hottest trend – or brand for that matter – we take note.
It can often be difficult to know where to focus your efforts – is it on a new pair of boots, a water-resistant handbag? After examining the looks of the star’s above, it’s glaringly obvious that a great selection of coats, blazers and knitwear are the key pieces everyone needs to keep you feeling warm but fashionable the whole season.
Unsurprisingly, these killer celebrity outfits all have one thing in common. They’re all from luxury Italian designer, Max Mara. Instantly recognisable for their signature ‘teddy coat,’ the brand has officially opened its first flagship store in Sydney, bringing their Italian craftsmanship and timeless elegance to the CBD’s premium shopping precinct.
The 220 square metre brand-new store is a masterpiece in itself, designed by renowned architects, Duccio Grassi and combining unique design, elegant lines and refined finishes to evoke a touch of Italian elegance on the streets of Sydney. The store’s entrance design also holds a special meaning, made out of “ceppo stone” which is the same opulent material used in the Milanese palaces.
The exquisite architecture is the perfect complement to the clothes that line the store’s walls. The mix of neutral, buttery tones contrasted with vibrant blue, red and lilac shades present a fashion offering for all – whether you prefer to play it safe or make a statement.
Like what you see? We certainly do. Head into the flagship store at 363 George Street to shop the star’s killer looks and see Max Mara’s dreamy collection in real life. We guarantee you’ll leave with a shopping bag (or two) in tow.
