After the big screen star won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, his co-star graced the stage on his behalf.
You can almost imagine Pitt relishing the hilarious speech unfold from home too with some pretty squirm-worthy jokes making the cut.

“Hey Britain, heard you just became single, welcome to the club,” the speech began, referencing Brexit. “Hope you get the best of the divorce settlement.”
If that wasn’t enough to see the starry crowd in fits of giggles, she continued: “He says he is going to name this Harry because he is really excited about bringing it back to the States with him.”
“His words not mine”, Robbie clarified, as the camera awkwardly panned across to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who were sitting front row.
Thankfully, the royal couple laughed along too.
Though it’s not the first time the actor has delivered a crowd-pleasing speech, as he made a dig at his divorce from Angelina Jolie at the 2020 SAG Awards.
“Let’s be honest. It was a difficult part,” he said. “A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get on with his wife. It was a big stretch.”
Of course, the camera shifted focus upon former wife and fellow attendee, Jennifer Aniston, who laughed along with her Hollywood peers.
The annual ceremony draws a whole host of famous faces with the likes of Florence Pugh, Zoë Kravitz and Emilia Clarke leading the best-dressed list.
