Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 1.
We need answers, and we need them now. That’s the resounding message from viewers who’ve finished watching the highly anticipated fourth instalment of Netflix’s Manifest. The first part of the final season finally dropped on Netflix in early November with longtime fans finally getting some answers as to WTF is actually going on with the passengers of Flight 828.
But as shows tend to do, it left just as many questions unanswered in its whirlwind 10 episodes.
So, what will happen on “death date” AKA June 2, 2024? Will Cal save everyone? Will Michaela and Jared get back together? And will someone please tell us if Angela is brought to justice. The silence is deafening.
With any luck, we won’t have to wait too long to find out. Below, we unpack everything there is to know (so far) about Manifest‘s final instalment, season four part two.
What is the release date for Manifest season 4 part 2?
While we don’t have an exact release date for season four part two, there’s a fairly solid theory that it will drop on Netflix on June 2, 2023.
The reason? Well, Netflix clearly put some thought into the show’s timeline, with season four part one dropping on November 4, which is the exact date Flight 828 landed back in 2018.
With the “death date” recorded as June 2 in the show, that would give us about an eight month gap between the two instalments, and ample time for Netflix to complete post-production for the final season. Stay tuned…
What will happen in season four part two?
As we saw at the end of season four part one, everything has been leading up to the “death date” of June 2, 2024. Apparently, this date would mark an apocolpyse for all of humanity, but the passengers from Flight 828 could have the power to stop it (no pressure).
As the first part of the season came to an end, we saw Zeke choose to sacrifice himself by taking Cal’s cancer from him. There’s a reason for that: Angelina is now more terrifyingly powerful than ever after she absorbed a sapphire that will enable her to control callings. But Cal has his own sapphire, which could give him the power to stop Angelina before she destroys the world. Here’s hoping Zeke’s death isn’t in vein.
Manifest‘s writer Jeff rake went into a little more detail about Angelina in an interview with TV Guide, confirming that she’s never been more powerful: “It’s up to Ben, Mick, and perhaps mostly Cal to defeat Angelina as we make our way into the final block,” he hinted. “The problem is that Angelina becomes increasingly powerful. We saw how powerful she was right there in Episode 410, and that’s only gonna get worse.”
Who will be in the cast of season 4, part 2?
Expect all your favourite cast members to return (apart from Matt Long, who played Zeke—sob). That includes Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh as Ben ad Michaela Stone, Ty Doran as Cal Stone and Luna Blaise as Olive Stone.
Holly Taylor will appear once again as Angelina, while J.R. Ramirez plays Jared Vasquez, and Parveen Kaur plays Saanvi Bahl.
