Mandy Moore has welcomed her second child with husband Taylor Goldsmith, announcing the news on Instagram with a sweet baby name reveal.
Sharing three black and white photos of herself and Goldsmith cradling their newborn, Moore began: “Ozzie is here!”
“Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents).”
She finished with a sweet anecdote about parenthood: “Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of the love is astounding. He is beyond words and we are so grateful for our family of four!”
Moore and Goldsmith share another son, 20-month-old August who they welcomed in early 2021.
To announce her second pregnancy in June this year, Moore shared a photo of August wearing a shirt emblazoned with the words “big brother”.
“One incredibly seminal chapter of my life just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to start… and are we ever so deeply grateful and excited,” she wrote.
“Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 coming this fall!”
Moore has had a busy year after wrapping up the final season of her popular series, This Is Us. She also released an album, In Real Life and started touring in the US summer. However she ended up cancelling the last of the shows due “heath reasons”. Moore was pregnant with Oscar at the time.
The singer and actor has gushed about motherhood previously, telling Parents in 2021: “Not to sound cheesy, but all the clichés are true. Life is Technicolor now. It just makes sense in a way that it didn’t before. I had no idea that this degree of love existed in the world.”
