Which Couples Went The Distance From ‘Love Is Blind’ Season Three?

Spoiler alert — there was a surprise rekindling.

Can love overcome judgement? Not only is it a big question, but it’s also the underlying premise behind one of Netflix’s most popular shows, Love Is Blind, which just dropped it’s highly-anticipated season three.

Following 30 men and women over several weeks, contestants speed-date in pods where they can talk but not see one another. After ten days, they must decide if they want to get engaged to the person they’ve formed a connection with, sight unseen. Over the remainder of the show, the couples will spend time together and with their fellow couples, before moving in together and ultimately deciding if they’ll get married. At the end of it all, the show aims to see if love truly can be blind.

“Across the world, everybody feels the same way: everyone wants to be loved for who they are on the inside,” executive producer Chris Coelen told Variety in 2020. “It doesn’t matter where you live, what you look like, how old you are, what your background is, which class you know, or social structure you feel like you’re a part of, everyone wants to be loved for who they are.”

Unsurprisingly, the show has become a huge international sensation with season three, (which aired in October) drawing in millions of viewers. As the season progresses, we become more and more attached to the outcome of the couples as they overcome challenges and try to make things work.

Below, we find out which of the five couples from Love Is Blind season three are still together, and which decided to part ways.

Alexa and Brennon

Alexa and Brennon were one of two couples who said “I do” at the altar.

“Never in a million years did I think that I would find the love of my life on the other side of a pod wall. You make me laugh, you make me think and more than anything else, you make me happy. I can’t wait to build the rest of our futures together. I promise to give you the jingle-jangle for the rest of forever,” she told him.

At the reunion, the pair confirmed they are still together and now living with one another in a two-bedroom apartment.

Speaking to Elite Daily after the reunion episode, Alexa revealed that there wasn’t an exact moment she knew she wanted to marry Brennon, but she knew she was making the right decision.

“There was never an exact moment,” she said. “It was just never a no. Once I was just like, ‘He’s my person on the other side,’ you just keep going with that.”

Brennon gushed about Alexa to the same outlet, crediting her “fun” and “sweet” personality as some of the many reasons he fell for her.

“She has this way of talking, communicating, and letting you see how she’s so much fun on the outside, but really on the inside, she’s so sweet and so she’s into family and all the values in life that I hold dear,” he said. “It really just stuck out. I went from, ‘Man, I really like this person’ to ‘I love this person,’ to ‘I’m in love with this person. I’m going to marry them. Whether it happens here or in person, whether we’re on the show, off the show, we’re getting married, it’s done.’”

SK and Raven

Despite breaking up after SK told Raven “I do not” at the altar, the pair rekindled over the 1.5 year break and announced they were together at the Love Is Blind reunion.

Clearly the passing of time is exactly what the couple needed, with SK having told her “I feel like today is not the best time for us to do this,” during the vow ceremony.

“Have you guys talked since then, been out since then, hooked up since then?” host Vanessa Lachey asked the pair, during the reunion, to which Raven responded, “Yes.”

Vanessa followed up by saying, “So are y’all dating now,” to which Raven said “Yeah.” The couple then got up and kissed to prove they were the real deal.

As of right now, the couple are doing long-distance, with SK currently residing in California and Raven still living in Dallas. They credit their strong communication skills as the key reason they’re able to make things work.

“Our communication, I think I can speak for the both of us, we’ve never been on this level in any other relationship,” Raven said.

“Every time, we reach a new level. Nothing is perfect, but we’ve grown so much from this experiment, first of all, from what we went through, from being apart, it makes it so much better when we’re together. Of course, I would prefer to be with him every day. But we’ve grown so much from it, and it’s really beautiful to do that.”

Speaking with Extra after the reunion had aired, SK explained how the pair rekindled things after the show had finished.

“[I] just reached out and apologized. It was very heartbreaking, watching her cry,” he said. “We’re taking things [one day] at a time, you know? Just working our way through things, and I’m excited about the future.”

Colleen And Matt

Colleen and Matt were the second couple to say “I do” on the show, and are still together today. During the reunion, the couple explained that they aren’t currently living together, but have plans to do so in the future.

“Logistics-wise and money-wise, we weren’t there. As soon as the wedding, the next day, we weren’t money-wise ready to give up on our leases,” Colleen said. “It’s a very complicated situation. We got married in an unorthodox way, so we’re doing marriage in an unorthodox way.”

She went on to explain that they’ve timed up the ending of their separate leases so they can begin looking for a place together.

“I can’t wait to move in with him, and I’m going to spend the rest of my life with him,” she said.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Matt got candid about the major wakeup call married life brought him and the juggling act they’ve undergone to make their relationship work.

“You learn a lot,” he said. “Getting out of the show and the whole atmosphere, you learn a lot about each other. “It kind of started off rough right when we got out of it… in the sense of knowing that you just got married. So now you’ve got to take your schedule and incorporate her scheduling. You’ve got to blend them together…But at this point, we’re as good as we’ve ever been.”

Bartise and Nancy

Bartise and Nancy are no longer together after he said “I do not” at the altar.

“We’re absolutely best friends, yes, but what I’ve gone through in the real world with you, with your family, with everything we talked about, there’s no way for me in my head that it makes sense to get up there and say ‘yes,’” he said.

At the reunion, they both confirmed that they still aren’t together, with Nancy accusing Bartise of going on a date with a “tall blonde” the day after their wedding. Bartise confirmed that he was with a blonde, but claimed he didn’t hook up with her until a few days later.

“Yes, there was a blonde girl with me, but that night, nothing happened. Something eventually happened on July 4th on a boat. There was a lot of drinking and a lot of coping I was doing. To be honest, I don’t think my sex life is anybody’s business,”  he said during the reunion.

Despite this drama, she told PEOPLE that they have a “respectful relationship” but he told the same outlet hat he would consider her more of an “acquaintance” than a friend.

Cole and Zanab

Zanab and Cole had one of the most tumultuous relationships on the show, particularly after she accused him of body shaming her, saying that he “disrespected” her and “single-handedly shattered” her self confidence.

“I hate that you have had that kind of effect on me,” she told him at the altar, while breaking up with him. “And the messed-up thing is I know I love you, but everything in me and the logical part of my brain tells me that love shouldn’t feel this way. Love shouldn’t hurt like this. I can’t marry you, and I don’t.”

Cole denied these allegations, but the show later ran a clip during the reunion which showed he had made comments about the food she was eating.

“The pushing food away from me. Asking me if I’m going to eat that. Trying to get me to order a salad. The daily comments about my face and my body were not used. That’s great because it really did protect you, and you are now denying it and now calling me a liar in front of all these people,” Zanab said at the reunion, prior to the clip being shown.

Speaking to PEOPLE after the reunion, Zanab revealed that she and Cole are not on speaking terms. “We do not speak,” she said. “We didn’t really leave a friendship or a mutual respect, I think, for each other to have. So there isn’t communication between the two of us.”

Love Is Blind seasons 1-3 are on Netflix now.
