Lily Allen has been viciously attacked online after revealing she suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after her baby son was still born in 2010.
Trolls accused the singer of being to blame for her son’s death over her drug use and suggested that she had mental health issues.
The abused started after the 31-year-old, who is now a mother-of-two, took to Twitter to comment on prejudice shown to immigrants.
Lily responded to the cruel comments by confirming she does have “mental health issues”.
One troll went so far as to suggest if she hadn’t taken drugs, “you wouldn’t have miscarried.”
To which Lily replied: “I didn’t miscarry, I went into early labour and my son died from his chord wrapped round his neck.”
Another shocking tweet suggested: “The baby knew you were going to be such a horrible mother.”
Lily has since taken herself off Twitter, with a friend taking her over account.
