Wonder Woman has already smashed the superhero glass ceiling, raked in close to $300 million globally and broken the opening box office record for a movie directed by a woman. Now, the film is inspiring the next generation.

Director Patty Jenkins has tweeted a note from a kindergarten class listing all the cute Wonder Woman things that happened in the week after the film’s release – and it’s pure gold.

One girl would only listen to people who addressed her as Wonder Woman and another asked if she could wear her Amazon armour instead of her school uniform because she “wanted to be ready if she needed to save the world.” When she donned the costume the next day, not a single kid batted an eye.

It’s not just girls who have been inspired by Gal Gadot’s portrayal of the Amazon Princess, Diana; a little boy who was obsessed with Iron Man asked his parents for a new Wonder Woman lunchbox.

When another boy threw rubbish on the ground, a five-year-old girl screamed “DON’T POLLUTE YOU IDIOT, THAT IS WHY THERE ARE NO MEN IN TEMYSCIRA.” Ugh.

The list concluded with a friendly reminder: “If this movie completely changed the way these girls and boys thought about themselves and the world in a week, imagine what the next generation will achieve if we give them more movies like Wonder Woman.”

Gal Gadot replied on Twitter saying, “Wow the last paragraph really gave me the chills. So true. So powerful. Gives me a huge drive to dive in and work on the next one.”
