Kate Upton and her professional baseball player beau Justin Verlander, wed in a romantic ceremony in Italy. Upton, 25, and Verlander, 34, exchanged their vows at Castiglion del Bosco in the Province of Siena in Tuscany. The intimate wedding comes just days after Justin’s team the Houston Astros won the world series.
The Sports Illustrated model wore a long sleeve white lace gown and a traditional long veil. Her blonde waves were elegantly pulled into a half-up half-down hairstyle.
Kate’s six bridesmaids continued the romantic theme of the day in gorgeous lilac tiered lace dresses. Two of her bridesmaids sported a slightly different dress from the others, looking equally pretty in silk gowns.
The groom wore a traditional black suit adding a dapper bow-tie to his look.
Inside the medieval Tuscan church, Hurricane candles lined the staircase up to the top a guest told E! News. Arrangements of deep red and blush pink flowers adorned the area. The reception was also held on the property.
The private announced their engagement in May 2016 when Upton showed off her massive engagement ring on the red carpet at the Met Gala.
