Crown Princess Mary and Duchess Kate Middleton are twinning for their royal reunion.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has already made international headlines during her solo royal visit to Denmark, the first since the start of the pandemic.

Showcasing her affordable wardrobe filled with Zara steals and revealing that she still feels “broody” even after giving birth to three children, the English monarch has once again caught our attention, this time during her reunion with Australian-born Danish royal Crown Princess Mary.

The Danish monarch, who celebrated her 50th birthday this year, accompanied the Duchess of Cambridge for her last day in Copenhagen.

The Duchess and Princess assembled at Christian IX’s Palace before meeting with the Crown Princess’ mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe II. The stylish pair also visited Danner Crisis Centre in support of women and children affected by domestic violence.

Our favourite future European Queens gave us a twinning moment for the occasion, braving the crisp temperatures in matching cool-chic coats.

While it’s not quite the exuberant and colourful street style we’ve come to recognise with Copenhagen fashion, the royals stayed true to form in impeccably polished and sophisticated silhouettes.

Princess Mary opted for a tundra-white tweed coat and black turtleneck dress, similar to the beige option the Duchess wore in January when visiting healthcare workers at Clitheroe Community Hospital.

Kate Middleton, on the other hand, chose a more modern-cut double breasted grey coat with contrasting black lapels and cuffs.

Both royals opted for the same practical black pumps by luxury Italian shoe designer Gianvito Rossi and matching black gloves.

The Duchess of Cambridge is in town to expand her knowledge of early childhood development and education as part of her commitments to the newly launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Both Kate and Mary have been friends since meeting in 2011, with this being the first time the pair have reconnected since 2016.
