Karlie Kloss felt the wrath of Taylor Swift’s fans earlier this week when she posted a video from a basketball-themed photoshoot with a questionable caption.

“Swish swish 🏀❤️ Love Advent ’17 thank you @thelovemagazine @kegrand @philpoynter,” the model originally posted.

Swifties were livid that she’d referenced Katy Perry’s song ‘Swish Swish’ – as the tune was seen as a direct reply to Taylor’s ‘Bad Blood’ – speculating that she was making a sneaky dig at the singer.

“I’m sorry, Kaylor can’t come to the phone rn. Why? Oh. ‘Cause they’re dead,” one wrote.

“Karlie knew that caption would cause drama,” another commented.

But now Karlie has responded to the furor, editing her post to read “Nothing but net 🏀❤️ Love.”

Many speculated that the long time pals had fallen out after Karlie wasn’t referenced in Taylor’s Look What You Made Me Do film clip, like many of her other loved ones were. But she recently shared a happy birthday message to the singer on her 28th birthday.

So perhaps it was just a benign basketball reference after all…
