Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are not messing around. After announcing their engagement in early April, Long let slip during a podcast segment that Bosworth is already his wife.
We guess the term ‘fiancée’ just wasn’t exciting enough for the happy couple.
During a segment, on May 9, of Long’s podcast Life Is Short, he discussed how Bosworth would come and visit his sets while they were falling in love, simultaneously revealing his new husband status.
“I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife,” he told his guest for the episode, actress Kyra Sedgwick.
“She came to visit and I had never been comfortable with…set visits. I like separating the relationship… But, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time.”
He continued, “It helped me having her there. She’d help me with scenes. It was the best.”
Kate Bosworth has appeared in two movies with her husband, Barbarian (2022) and House of Darkness (2022).
The pair sparked engagement rumours when Bosworth was seen wearing a huge rock on the red carpet at the Oscars (on her wedding finger). The news was then confirmed via Long’s podcast in April.
When they finally posted about the news on Instagram, Long shared, “She said YES… to being a guest on @lifeisshortpodcast! And to other slightly more life-changing questions.”
“I feel eternally grateful that I found a partner who makes each day SO full, whose mere presence IS a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me laugh from the minute we wake up til the one I begrudgingly fall asleep. I cherish the days we’ve had and the ones to come.”
Meanwhile, Bosworth shared, “How to do this right? He’s going the distance? I’ve got a Blue Crush? He’s just THAT into me? I’ve won a date with…??? Ok you get it,” referencing some of Long’s movie titles.
Now, we will simply be forced to wait on tenterhooks for photos of their wedding nuptials to be released. We’re certainly not alone in wanting to know all the details from this happy couple’s ceremony.
