We might still not be over the fact that Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson are no longer together but it seems they have both well and truly moved on.
Following news that his ex-girlfriend of 10 years Diane Kruger is expecting a baby with Norman Reedus, comes the news that Joshua Jackson has a new girlfriend.
The 39-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum is reportedly dating actress and TV host Alyssa Julya Smith.
“It’s been going on for several months now,” a source tells E! News.
The pair reportedly met in Los Angeles and have been dating long distance while Jackson was starring in Children Of A Lesser God on Broadway. They were reportedly spotted enjoying a date in Manhattan’s Central Park over the weekend.
It’s unclear how the couple met, but the star had reportedly turned to dating apps to help him find love after his split with Kruger in 2016 after a decade together.
“Josh is playing the field and has even started using dating apps,” a source previously told Daily Mail. “He’s still cut up about Norman and Diane, but getting back into the dating scene has been a welcome distraction.”
However he did admit to Ellen Degeneres back in 2016 that he was struggling with dating in the digital age after being out of the game for so long.
“Things have changed a little bit since last time I was single,” he said. “Maybe it was there, but I don’t remember it. I mean, everything’s on your phone now, right?” he said. “There’s no more talking to people anymore. You talk to somebody and they’re like, ‘Ugh! No, no, no! We don’t do that anymore.'”
