Just yesterday, the world got wind of the fact that Dawson’s Creek alum Joshua Jackson has a new girlfriend, and now, the new couple has been spotted enjoying a spring date in the park together. It probably would have been quite romantic had the paparazzi not been there.

Jackson, 39, and actress/TV host Alyssa Julya Smith, 31, were strolling through Central Park, NYC, for their first public outing.

Despite only going public with their relationship yesterday, a source tells E! News that “it’s been going on for several months now.”
