Speaking to Harperโ€™s Bazaar, the singer and actor revealed the incident took place at the beginning of her film career.

โ€œI havenโ€™t been abused in the way some women have,โ€ she said. โ€œBut have I been told by a director to take off my shirt and show my boobs? Yes, I have. But did I do it? No, I did not.โ€

Lopez, 48, said she was scared to speak up but knew the directorโ€™s behaviour needed to be stopped.

โ€œWhen I did speak up, I was terrified,โ€ she explained. โ€œI remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, โ€˜What did I do? This man is hiring me!โ€™ It was one of my first movies. But in my mind I knew the behavior was wrong. It could have gone either way for me. But I think ultimately the Bronx in me was like, โ€˜Nah, weโ€™re not having it.โ€™โ€
