Jennifer Lopez and her longtime love Casper Smart have called it quits after five years together.
The pair have been together since 2011, despite a brief split in 2014.
People has confirmed the news, with a source telling the magazine that the 47-year-old pop star has been separated from her younger beau for “a few weeks”.
“It wasn’t anything dramatic and they were on good terms – it just came to a natural end,” the source added. “They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable.”
29-year-old Casper gushed over his “beautiful” girlfriend back in March.
“She’s sweet, funny, nice, easygoing and gracious,” he told People. “You can’t ask for anything more.”
“We don’t really go out very much,” he added.
“We both don’t drink, we don’t do any drugs, smoking, pills or any of the craziness. We don’t get wrapped up in the Hollywood life that can chew you up and spit you out. I’ve seen it happen a million times.”
The pair were last spotted on August 13 in Las Vegas for JLo’s Caesar’s Palace show, where the couple were joined by her ex husband Marc Anthony and his new girlfriend Shannon de Lima.
