If you’re still mourning your lost European summer holidays, you may want to cast your eye away from this page. However, should you want to indulge in living vicariously and marvel at the Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn enjoying herself to ABBA’s “Mamma Mia”, please, read on.
The veteran actress shared a joyful video of herself dancing in the waters of Skiathos in Greece on her Instagram earlier this week. Hawn dances, splashes and generally enjoys herself to the upbeat tune. Surely this could only be more fun with one addition: a Meryl Streep cameo.
“Can’t stop, won’t stop dancing in Skiathos, Greece,” Hawn captioned her Instagram post. “Mamma Mia. What an island!!”
Hawn alternately wore a black one-piece swimsuit and a flowing red and yellow coverup in her video.
“I consider myself more a dancer than anything else,” Hawn previously told The Guardian.
“When I talk about dancing through life, it really is how we move,” Hawn said. “It’s how we face today, how we walk into a room, how we pull ourselves up and feel that what we have inside of us is valuable and important.”
The 75-year-old actress is currently in Greece with her daughter, actress Kate Hudson. The sweet pair are enjoying a family holiday, though Hudson is also shooting in Greece for the upcoming film Knives Out 2.
“When we were kids and we would go on road trips or we would travel, we had each other, Uno and any toys, Hawn’s daughter Kate Hudson previously reflected to People. “I remember at one point, we got really into playing jacks. It’s funny because it forced us to really sort of be imaginative and connect.”
Though the locale has changed from a road trip to Greece, fans will surely be glad to see this sweet family appears to be having as much fun as ever.
