Actor Mark Salling, known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Glee, has pleaded guilty to possession of child abuse images involving a prepubescent minor.
Federal investigators found more than 25,000 images and 600 videos of child pornography on a computer and thumb drives owned by Salling in 2015.
Court documents obtained by the Blast say that the images depicted the abuse of children as young as three.
According to court documents, Salling stated: “I am pleading guilty because I am guilty of the charges and wish to take advantage of the promises set forth in this agreement, and not for any other reason.”
The Glee actor, who pleaded guilty on Wednesday, will be sentenced to four to seven years in prison, will have to register as a sex offender and enter a treatment program.
By pleading guilty, Salling avoided the maximum sentence of 20 years in jail, The Guardian reports.
The 35-year-old was first arrested in December 2015.
