Though we’re dying to see George and Amal Clooney’s newborn twins, for now, we’ll take any info we can get!
Thankfully, the actor’s dad, Nick Clooney, is prepared to share a bit about his new grandchildren, Ella and Alexander.
“They look great, and both George and Amal are doing wonderfully well. Amal is doing terrifically well,” he said, before calling his daughter-in-law a “super woman.”
Revealing that he met the twins on FaceTime just two hours after their birth, the retired anchorman told FOX19 NOW, “The babies are beautiful. Of course, [Amal]’s beautiful.”
Joking about his son, he said, “George, well his eyes were glazed, so I’m not sure that he was sober.”
The twins both have dark hair, taking after their brunette mother, Nick disclosed.
But when it comes to facial features, George’s mum Nina says they take after her son.
“They are gorgeous,” Nick said. “Nina swears they have George’s nose. Not both of them, one of them. The little boy looked like he had [George’s] nose. His little profile.”
He also approves of the couple’s safe and classic names: “I love their names, Alexander and Ella.”
