A CLEARLY FAKE Ryan Gosling lookalike has somehow managed to convince Goldene Kamera awards that he was actually the actor, and appeared on-stage to accept an award for La La Land.

The guy could ~maybe~ pass for Ryan’s brother, but he’s definitely not identical and he’s rocking a rather thick German accent. The stunt was co-ordinated by German comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. The boys allegedly set up a fake agency, which guaranteed a Gosling appearance if he received the award.

Somehow – seriously, how? – the station believed he was the real deal and sent him out to accept the award.

“Good evening, I am Ryan Gosling,” fake Ryan says in his acceptance speech. “I dedicate this award to Joko and Klass, thank you very much. There is a saying in Hamburg, which is, ‘bye bye!’”

Celebrities including Jane Fonda, Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell were so unimpressed by the awkward stunt, which makes for a rather priceless video.
