So it wasn’t surprising to see the royal get competitive, as she and Prince William tried their hand at some Irish sports during their recent three-day tour of the country.

On Thursday (March 5), the couple became the first members of the royal family to visit a Gaelic Athletic Association club where they joined in on Gaelic football drills and had a go at hurling.
At the Salthill Knocknacarra GAA club in Galway, the duo demonstrated their competitive spirit by splitting into two teams with Kate representing the girls and William doing it for the boys.
As per every sporting engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge wasted no time in getting stuck in.
