In a peculiar turn of events, the country singer posted a collage of four nostalgic photographs on her Instagram page to emphasise her ability to adopt different roles.
Playing on the notion that we change our appearance and mannerisms in accordance to each platform, Parton labelled the images: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Tinder.
The joke instantly struck a chord with the internet with us all guilty of saving (highly-edited) thirst traps for Tinder while wholesome dog selfies perform best on family-friendly Facebook – after all, our mum is our most-supportive friend on there.
Within a mere 48 hours, Parton’s meme had already inspired fellow celebrities to give it a whirl.
