The latest detail baffling Clueless fans is a mistake in the film when Cher Horowitz gives her report card to her dad.
At first everything seems in order, but if you look closer, you’ll spot something very peculiar…

As you can see, Cher’s report card reads ‘Cher Hamilton’ – er, what? Cher’s last name is Horowitz!
If you investigate further into it, you’ll see that the letter is also addressed to ‘Melvin Hamilton’, instead of her father’s real name – ‘Mel Horowitz’.
That’s gotta be too big of an error to make twice in the movie, so the theory goes that ‘Hamilton’ was originally going to be Cher’s family name, and the film-makers forgot to update the props.
