Delta Goodrem Returns To Acting As The Star Of New Netflix Film ‘Love Is In The Air’

The Australian star might be best known for her music but she also has an impressive acting resume under her belt.

Delta Goodrem is returning to the big screen as the star of the new Netflix film Love Is In The Air.

The Australian star began her acting career in 1993 with small parts on A Country Practice and Hey Dad..! before finding the role of Nina Tucker on Neighbours. After four years on the soap, Goodrem scored a role in the hit Australian film, Hating Alison Ashley

But in recent years, we have become more accustomed to seeing Goodrem, who is also a singer, as a judge on The Voice Australia and in other hosting style entertainment roles.

However, fans will be pleased to learn that they will be seeing Goodrem use her acting talents again, as she takes on the role of a seaplane pilot who falls for the man trying to sink her business in Netflix’s Love Is In The Air

According to Netflix, the story is about “a fiercely independent pilot fighting to keep her family business afloat starts to fall for the man sent by corporate to ground her operation forever.” 

The Aussie romantic comedy was filmed in the Whitsunday Islands, and also stars British actor Joshua Sasse, New Zealand actor Roy Billing and comedian Steph Tisdell.

Goodrem couldn’t hide her excitement about the upcoming film, when she shared movie’s premiere date on his Instagram back in August.

“We have a date!!! ‘Love Is In The Air’ our new movie comes out September 28th on @netflix,” she wrote.

“Can’t wait for you to see this one.”

Of course, Goodrem’s fans might be even more excited than her, with one writing, “I’m ready to fly Delta Airways,” and another sharing, “This is everything!! I can’t wait to watch. We’ve missed you on the big screen.”

Luckily, fans do have to wait long with the film now steaming on Netflix—Friday night movie sorted.
