In news that’s more far-fetched than an episode of 13 Reasons Why, a star of the hit Netflix show and none other than Courtney Love are allegedly being sued for attempted murder.
Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband, Isaiah Silva, is suing Courtney Love and 13 Reasons Why star Ross Butler allegedly saying that in 2016, Butler and his manager Sam Lufti (who also manages Love and first introduced the unlikely pair), along with a private investigator broke into his house, attempting to steal a guitar from him that once belonged to France’s father, Kurt Cobain.
TMZ reports that Silva is claiming the Love was the ringleader and that the men “burglarised, robbed, assaulted, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him at his West Hollywood Home.”
Silva also allegedly claims the group injured his mother.
As for how Butler and Love first met, “A good friend of mine is her manager,” the actor previously told Vulture.
“He was like, ‘Hey, do you wanna meet Courtney Love?’ and I said sure. She and I just clicked really well. She’s super educated, like a walking encyclopedia. She’s just decided to keep me around, and has been my mentor and my big sister ever since.”
Love responded to the reports via a Twitter direct message to MTV Australia, saying they are “baseless and nonsense.”
