The 32-year-old opened up about relocating his family back home, including wife, Elsa Pataky, and daughter India, 4, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 2.

โ€œWe can walk straight down to the beach, we can have a normal existence and the kids have a hell of a lot more fun than they did back in the States,โ€ the Thor star told Womanโ€™s Day of their new life.

The down-to-earth couple now call NSWโ€™s Byron Bay home and are often spotted around town shopping and dining with their kids.

Back in March, the โ€˜Sexiest Man Aliveโ€™ opened up about why they decided to move and how at home, heโ€™s just โ€˜Dadโ€™.

โ€œItโ€™s no longer all about me, which is quite refreshing,โ€ he told Modern Luxury. โ€œActing is the most self-absorbed world, where you are thinking about your feelingsโ€ฆ You are constantly having to self-analyze or analyze a character you are playing, so you are internalizing and thinking, thinking, thinking about meโ€ฆ Itโ€™s just a horrible, noisy conversation. Once the kids arrived, I was like, โ€˜Wow, this is what life is about.'โ€

โ€œL.A. is a tough place to get around with kids,โ€ he continued. โ€œThereโ€™s not a whole lot of foot traffic. It was all about loading up the car and car seats. Here [in Australia], we just walk out the door and head to the beach down the street. Itโ€™s a much more simple life.โ€
