Seven months after women began coming forward accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment, the disgraced film producer has been arrested in New York City.
More than 80 women have accused Weinstein of alleged incidents that span several decades. Finally, on Friday, those who suffered at the hands of Weinstein saw him handcuffed and lead away.
Weinstein is charged with four offences, including rape and a criminal sex act on two women. The 66-year-old’s lawyer told reporters he was likely to plead not guilty.
