On a day that celebrates women from all walks of life, it only seems fitting that celebrities – both men and women – are taking the opportunity to reflect on the incredible progress made to advance women’s equality as well as spotlighting the changes that are still to come.

Back in the UK for her last round of royal engagements, Meghan Markle surprised a group of students in London when she stopped by to host a special assembly about the importance of empowering women in honour of International Women’s Day. To further emphasise her message, the Duchess of Sussex chose to wear an outfit comprising of pieces made by all-female designers, featuring brands ME+EM, Jennifer Chamandi and street-style favourite, Rejina Pyo.

And the support didn’t stop there. From Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift curating special playlists with songs only from female artists to Ashley Graham sharing a powerful photo of her giving birth to her newborn son, and Tom Brady and David Beckham taking a moment to celebrate the amazing women in their lives, this is how your favourite stars spent #InternationalWomensDay.
