Lake Como is a destination defined by opulence. As such, it was the perfect backdrop for Cartier to unveil their new High Jewellery Collection, Sixième Sens par Cartier.
The brand celebrated the new pieces with a dinner party thrown at the hotel Il Sereno Lago di Como, specifically choosing the location for its symbolic importance as a place with a rich history of rebirth and endless inspiration.
Comprising necklaces made of dazzling emeralds, earrings with spectacular sapphires and glistening ruby rings, the collection perfectly captures the emotional power that jewellery so often conjures. Jewellery often holds personal meaning for many of us and High Jewellery is the finest example of an art form that can capture our attention like no other. This collection in particular speaks to the special place jewellery has in fashion; with thousand-year-old stones, it demonstrates how much history can be held in a single piece.
It was fitting that the collection be celebrated in the most decadent of ways. The dinner was hosted by President & CEO of Cartier International, Cyrille Vignernon, and the guest list was made up of a who’s who of fashion, including Bianca Brandolini, Nadine Labaki and Fatima Al Banawi.
