Spend With Them
Among the many homes and wildlife that have been lost during the fires, local businesses’ in the towns affected have also suffered greatly. A lot of these towns rely on tourist dollars for their survival, which is why initiatives like Turia Pitt’s ‘Spend With Them’ are so important. Spend With Them is an account which features businesses in fire-affected towns. There, the public can purchase from those who really need it. Pitt says, “Spend your money with the people and the communities who really, truly need it. They need you. We need you.”
Hearts On Fire
Hearts On Fire is an online auction of experiences within the world of fashion, food, travel and the arts, to raise funds for those affected by the bushfires. More information to come.
