Just when you thought rumours of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s romance might fade away – despite speculation going into overdrive when Cooper and Irina Shayk announced their split earlier this month, the A Star is Born co-stars haven’t been seen together since the Oscars – now it’s rumoured the pair are spending this coming weekend together, performing as a duet at Glasbonbury Festival in the UK.
Overnight, UK radio DJ Edith Bowman teased that she had a good idea of one of the festival’s secret acts after Cooper appeared as a guest on her podcast.
“I may know one [surprise act], I can’t possibly say,” Bowman teased while talking to presenters, Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy, on Sunday Brunch.
“On my podcast, I had Bradley Cooper, talking about A Star Is Born. And when I spoke to him I was like, ‘I just wanna see you guys do a gig, play it live’. And he was like, “‘Well we have been talking to Nick [Dewey, Glastonbury booker] and Emily [Eavis, co-organiser] about it – we’d do The Park Stage,’” Bowman continued, saying that Cooper went as far as to say they would “maybe just do six songs” at the festival.
What’s more, Cooper’s backing band in A Star Is Born, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, are playing on the same stage on Friday and Glastonbury still has two slots “still to be announced” on the Park Stage – at 11:30am and 6:15pm – on the Saturday.
