While it’s not exactly a secret that Blake Lively is expecting baby number two with hubby Ryan Reynolds, up until now the couple haven’t officially confirmed it.
During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Myers, the host congratulated the actress about her baby on the way.
But The Shallows star wasn’t going to make it easy for him.
“What makes you say that?” she asks coyly, making him squirm. “You know you don’t ever say that to a woman!”
But then she relents, “Yes, you’re guessing correctly. This is not brownies.”
Blake, who continued her maternity style winning streak for the appearance, wearing a form-fitting black dress with sequinned detailing – and a little Carrie Bradshaw-esk hair, went on to discuss motherhood, and how ‘Instagram mums’ make it look so easy.
“She just made having a baby look lovely. Everything is white and she always has a fresh blueberry pie that’s steaming and scones and clotted cream, and she’s reading The Old Man and the Sea. And her little boy who’s roly with bonnets is just like sleeping while knitting, you know, a little like kid caftan,” she joked.
“It’s amazing and I thought, this is lovely! And her toddler is like giving her a reflexology massage. What?! My kid is like playing with explosive devices. I don’t know where she found them,” she said with a laughs of her daughter, James who is 18-months-old.
“She already knows how to drywall because she puts holes in the wall.”
