Following The Weeknd’s split from girlfriend of 10 months Selena Gomez – and Gomez’s reunion with Justin Bieber, the Canadian rapper was spotted leaving his ex Bella Hadid’s New York City apartment.
Fans immediately started speculating that Jelena might not be the only unexpected romantic rekindling of 2017, especially after sources revealed The Weeknd (nee Abel Tesfaye) and Hadid still love each other.
And it seems Tesfaye really is trying to win his model girlfriend back, sending flowers to Hadid’s Shanghai hotel room ahead of her second Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“Abel sent her a gorgeous, huge bouquet of flowers along with a super sweet note telling her how amazing she is and how proud of her he is,” a source told Hollywood Life.
It’s not the first time Tesfaye has sent his ex flowers, either.
The 27-year-old reportedly also sent Hadid a bunch before her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris, ahead of their now legendary runway reunion.
