Following her sister Gigi’s attack in Milan by a man who grabbed her from behind, Bella Hadid has now been targeted in New York City.
The model was making her way to Gigi’s apartment building with Kendall Jenner when a woman accosted her with the Palestinian flag.
The women ran up to the pair and Bella’s security were quick to act and call police, and the 22-year-old was taken away in handcuffs.
TMZ reports that she was released by the NYPD without charge.
Bella and Gigi are the daughters of real estate tycoon Mohammed Hadid and are of Palestinian descent.
Gigi was forced to defend her roots in 2015 after she posted a photo of her hands covered in Henna tattoos and received backlash.
“Check out the last name. Hadid. Palestinian and proud of it,” she wrote.
