I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. The snap of Miller looking up at the camera, as he casually sits on the grass, was most likely taken by Grande when the pair were dating earlier this year. Without a caption, Grande let the haunting picture speak for itself.

Grande and Miller first met in 2012 when they collaborated on The Way and officially started dating in 2016 eventually splitting in May 2018. “This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favourite people on the planet,” Grande wrote on an Instagram Story in May, shortly after their breakup. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!”

Days after his split from Ariana Grande, the rapper was involved in a car crash, TMZ claimed the star then “confessed to driving drunk and fleeing the scene.” Following the crash, Grande opened up about their “toxic relationship.” The 25-year-old said, “I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any other woman in this position does as well.”

Reacting to Grande’s engagement to Pete Davidson just a few months later Miller said he only had “positive energy” for Ariana.

“I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years,” he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music in July. “We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it’s that simple.”

“I am happy for her and [the fact that she’s] moving forward with her life, just as I’m sure she is with me.”
