It’s been a big few weeks for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After Meghan Markle’s brief return to the spotlight for Trooping the Colour last weekend (where she was upstaged by Prince Louis), today, Prince Harry has his turn to shine, celebrating his first Father’s Day since the birth of son Archie Harrison.
Like any millennial dad, Harry took to Instagram for the occasion, sharing an adorable, never-before-seen photo of his newborn.
In the sepia-toned image, Archie is holding onto his dad’s hand while staring into the camera, giving the world the first proper look at his eyes after he peacefully slept through his first official photos last month.
The royals captioned the image, “Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex.”
Last month, the new parents shared another glimpse of Archie on Instagram for Mother’s Day, showing Meghan holding her newborn’s feet in her hands. Now that we’ve graduated to seeing Archie’s face, surely it won’t be long before he makes his first public appearance. We can hardly wait.
