Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together last month, naming their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The couple introduced baby Archie to the world two days later, posing for photographs, but other than a sweet Mother’s Day Instagram, we have been without baby updates, with Prince Harry only breaking his silence this weekend to post a proper photograph of his son.
Since his birth, speculation has been rising around every aspect of baby Sussex’s life, from who his Godparents will be to the nursery colour palette of choice. But the most talked-about aspect is undoubtedly his Christening, with the public wanting to know everything from the date and location, to who will be in attendance.
Now, we have the answers.
Archie Harrison will be christened at St George’s Chapel in July, with an exact date yet to be announced.
And while the full guest list is not yet known, there will of course be a lot of royal faces in the pews.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children are expected to be in attendance, as are Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, with Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland also expected to fly in for the occasion. But one royal family member who will not be attending is the Queen, due to prior commitments.
We’re sure she (like everyone else in the world) is looking forward to the photographs!
