Supermarket giant ALDI sure does know the way to our heart. First, they revealed they’ll be introducing a 3-litre bottle of Prosecco just in time for Christmas. Then came the announcement of a wine advent calendar (we’re still hyperventilating over that).
The latest piece of spectacular news?
ALDI will be selling magnums of French bubbly for under $20.
According to the supermarket chain, they’ll be stocking a 1.5L Brut Dargent Ice Sparkling Chardonnay and 1.5L Pinot Noir for $19.99.
While ALDI recommends the bubbly will instantly lift the stakes of your Melbourne Cup day, we have another hot tip. Stash a few bottles away in the cupboard (if you can resist drinking them) just in time for Christmas Day to keep your family extra happy.
