Adele paid emotional tribute to George Michael at the Grammys with a performance of Fast Love last night.
But midway through the performance the British singer stopped abruptly, before producers cut her sound for a moment. As the music died away, Adele could be heard saying โI know itโs live TVโฆ Iโm sorry for swearing, and Iโm sorry for starting again.โ
โI canโt mess this up for him,โ she said in reference to singing legend George Michael, who passed away at his home in 2016.
