A Timeline of Brangelina That Will Give You Major Feels

When crowds watched ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ for the first time in 2005, it came as no surprise that the on-screen couple of Brad and Angelina had turned into an off-set romance. The pair met and began filming for the iconic spy movie in 2004, and just one year later, Brad announced his controversial divorce from Jennifer Aniston.

In April 2005, one month after Aniston filed for divorce, a set of paparazzi photos emerged showing Brad, Angelina and her son Maddox on the beach in Kenya. Relationship confirmed! 

In January 2006, Jolie reveals that she is expecting her first biological child and confirms that Brad is the father, just three months after his divorce from Aniston is finalised. The Oscar-winning actor also legally adopts two of Ange’s kids – so to back track, we now have: Maddox, Zahara and in May of that year, Shiloh is added to the ever-expanding Jolie-Pitt family.

In July 2005, Ange finalises the adoption of her second child, Zahara. A year later, Brangelina are photographed in Mumbai during the filming of Jolie’s upcoming movie, ‘A Mighty Heart’, looking very much like a happy family with Zahara and Maddox by their sides. 

The Hollywood A-listers make their debut as a couple on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘The Good Shepard’ in December, 2006. 

Brangelina travel to Vietnam to adopt their fourth child together, Pax Jolie-Pitt. 

Brad and (a heavily pregnant) Angelina, pictured here on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival, announce they are expecting twins. Soon after, Jolie gives birth to healthy twins, Knox and Vivienne, in the French Riviera maternity clinic. Their family of four now becomes six! 

And for the next few years, the world watches on as Brangelina attend premieres together, follow each other around the world to support each other’s film projects, and walk around LA with their happy family of 8…

After 7 years together in 2012, Brad pops the question and the Oscar-winning pair tie the knot two years later in an intimate wedding ceremony in France. Brad designed the ring himself and Ange wore a custom Versace wedding dress which featured personalised drawings from her children…*we can’t deal*.  

The celebrity lovers look more enamored with each other than ever whilst attending the opening night gala premiere of ‘By The Sea’ in November, 2015. 

Reports of divorce, moving out and cheating surface in June 2016, yet just one month later the pair are pictured celebrating their two year wedding anniversary together in Beverley Hills. 

…and now, sadly, we bring you to what is possibly the last photo of the pair taken together as a married couple, taken back in July. *sigh*. On September 21st 2016, the day that will go down in history as when Hollywood’s most prominent marriage ended, Jolie’s lawyer confirmed that the pair had split after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
