“If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you,” is the terrifying premise of the new supernatural horror film, A Quiet Place, directed by John Krasinski.
Krasinski stars in the chilling film along with his wife, Emily Blunt, who appears in the trailer scared and screaming in a bathtub. Doesn’t their marriage sound like fun?
The teaser shows the family of four living a very quiet life in the woods, where they communicate via sign language, tiptoe through their house and don’t utter a word.
“Listen closely, move carefully, and never make a sound,” the tagline for the film explains. But then a gas lantern is loudly knocked over one night. Gulp.
According to Deadline, A Quiet Place is based on a script Krasinski wrote, and Michael Bay is one of the producers. It also marks the first time Blunt and Krasinski have appeared in a film together—and it’s certainly a memorable debut.

A Quiet Place is released in cinemas on May 10, 2018.
