Kate Middleton And Her Kids Matched In Spring Blue Outfits To Applaud Carers During COVID-19

The Cambridge family appeared for a good cause

Kate Middleton, Prince William and their three children popped up on BBC’s fundraising show, Big Night In, clapping for frontline workers fighting COVID-19. Her look for the appearance took a style note from Princess Diana.

Her floral Ghost London dress wasn’t just similar to ones Diana wore, it included a very ‘80s trend, too. Statement collars are big for 2020, and this dress definitely calls to mind a few pieces that Princess Diana wore decades ago.

Right before she married Prince Charles, Lady Diana Spencer wore a similar design, which even included a polka-dot print.

This isn’t the first time the couple’s children have gone viral for clapping for the UK’s National Health Service. Kate and William shared footage of George, Charlotte, and Louis applauding for NHS last month too. “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you,” their team wrote in the Instagram’s caption. “#ClapForOurCarers #ClapForCarers #ThankYouNHS #ClapForNHS”
