We all know Meghan Markle loves a high street buy. Whether it’s an &OtherStories dress or $48 H&M maternity outfit, the Duchess knows how to spot a deal. She also loves to show off lesser known brands, thrusting them into the spotlight and ensuring subsequent success. Now, it seems Kate Middleton is taking cues from her sister-in-law, opting to carry an on-trend top handle bag from Turkish label Manu Atelier.

Stepping out in Scotland earlier this year, the Duchess re-wore a favourite Alexander McQueen dress, pairing it with a matching green box bag from the Instagram-loved brand.

Ever a fan of the box bag, we’re guessing Meghan might have recommended Kate to the under-the-radar label, which has been a staple with the street style set since its launch in 2014. With their signature arrowhead logo and neatly crafted leathers, the brand makes bags that are cute, functional and are able to dress up any outfit. Coming in an array of colours, the bags can be customised to add a strap, too.

The Duchess loves the bag so much that she decided to wear it again, stepping out in London in March with the same style. A real staple for the royal!

The brand’s bags, which are available from David Jones in Australia, are priced from $300, making them the ever-affordable option for anyone wanting to emulate Kate’s royal style.

But it wasn’t the only accessory where the Duchess looked to other family members for inspiration for her outfit in January. Kate’s earrings were a pair once belonging to Princess Diana, which were then gifted to her from Prince William. Once studs, the earrings were remodelled into a drop pair, of which the emerald stone matches her engagement ring.

Now, all we need to see is Kate and Meghan wearing matching box bags and our lives will be complete!
