Kaia Gerber’s Best Style Moments

The Gen-Z It-girl whose wardrobe we all envy

Being a stylish supermodel is one thing, but still being a style icon when you’re off-duty is another thing entirely. At just 18, Kaia Gerber can claim both. She has enough runway experience under her belt to rival supers twice her age—she walked in her first show at 15—but her every day and red carpet fashion choices are just as impeccable and often copied.

Toeing the line between timelessness and teenage experimentation with an ease we definitely didn’t have at her age, the L.A. native and Omega ambassador always keeps it cool, often throwing in a reference to ’90s trendsetters. With her innate sense of style, it’s little wonder that she’s become a Gen-Z fashion force.

Scroll down for six looks of Gerber’s that we loved.

Gerber might model all kinds of extravagant outfits on the runway, but one look at her Instagram shows she knows the limitless power of classic pieces—specifically, the LBD

A mainstay in her wardrobe, little black dresses (like the one pictured above) show how classic cuts truly never go out of style. If you’re stuck for what to wear this party season, look no further.

File this under ‘dream summer look’. The campaign image for the Omega De Ville Trésor Moonshine Gold watch—Gerber is the exclusive face of the $37,125 timepiece—serves as the ultimate summer style inspiration

As eye-catching as it is understated (just like Gerber’s wardrobe), the watch case and dial are crafted from 18K Moonshine™ gold. It also features diamonds that curve along the sides of the case, and is finished with a mesh bracelet. It’s a great investment piece that can be dressed up or down—we love it with a white linen sun dress, as pictured. Other variants of the watch start from $6,700.

Princess Diana was a fan of the blazer/sports cap combo, and Gerber has wisely followed suit, routinely donning the smart-casual look when she’s on her own time.

Note to self: you can’t go wrong with a houndstooth blazer, cap and jeans. Iced matcha optional, but highly recommended.

Like mother, like daughter. At a ‘Forces of Fashion’ event last year, Gerber coordinated with her mother, Cindy Crawford, and wore an oversize Alexander McQueen military-style blazer and mini skirt to match her mother’s workwear ensemble.

Thigh-high black leather boots and gold hardware gave Gerber’s outfit a fun and fashion-forward edge. The outfit serves as a reminder to be playful with classic silhouettes to keep them fresh.

Growing up by the beach, and making the most of European summers pre-Covid, it’s no surprise that Gerber nails summer dressing. Back in 2017, she helped to ignite global hype for Australian brand Réalisation Par’s cult cherry dresses, making them a must-have item within minutes.

As one of the brand’s most notable and influential wearers, it wasn’t long before they named one of their blouses, the ‘Kaia’, in Gerber’s honour. That’s how you set Instagram on fire.

As one of her generation’s most successful models, Gerber gets first pick of all the latest designer couture, and is occasionally partial to a ball gown. However, one of her best red carpet looks came in November 2019 at an event she attended with her mother.

Gerber opted for a classic two-piece set by New York label Khaite—a favourite of Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lawrence. It’s still one of our favourite looks on her to date.
